Name: Swiftkit
Definition: Nothing out of ordinary. Mother simply enjoyed the bird called a swift.
Gender: Tom
Age: Six moons
Clan: CloudClan
Rank: Kit
Looks: Swiftkit's pelt is the hue of a late autumn sun set, sparkling gold. His fur is long and well-kept, hiding his lean, hard muscles. His large eyes sport a dark amber color. His paws are small and quiet on the earth's surface. They are colored a white hue, just like the stark white spot on his chest. His hide darkens under his belly at on his long legs. The backs of his round ears are also this color of dusky brown. Swiftpaw's tail is the same golden color as his pelt, save for the darker color bangling it. The same tabby markings that stripe his tail also stripe his head and legs.
Swiftkit is build more for speed than defence. His hind haunches are strong for leaping and his muscles are lean and hard. His shoulders are not very broad, but he does not appear skimpy. This kit is of average height. His claws, though, are long and he often sharpens them self consiously.
Personality: When first meeting Swiftkit, one might make him out to be responsible and good-hearted, but a bit erratic. Wistfully, he fully agrees with this. Indeed, this kit can be a bit daring and playful, but he could not be discribed as nieve. The head on his shoulders is a good one, and level, for the most part. He knows what is wrong and right, and honors the warrior code very much. One thing that may set him apart from most toms is that he is also a thoughtful fellow. When a clanmate is injured or feeling down, Swiftkit is quick to be by their side, not always talking, but just listening or simply offering a shoulder to lean on. He often can be found in the medicing cat's den, sitting among the stores of herbs and listening to CloudClan's medicine cat talk. He loves to hear about the diverse variety of herbs and the ways of helping your clanmates, and hopes very much that he can become the medicine cat apprentice. Swiftkit is careful with his temper. He holds it, for the most part. He admits with a cocky grin that when someone dares to insult someone he holds dear or comment rudely about himself, sometimes he does loose his head a bit. But apart form that, Swiftkit's mood is usually contented or bright.
Past: On the thirty first of May, two cats met on the border of CloudClan and MoonClan. They were Dawnpelt and Hareburrow, Swiftkit's mother and father. The two young warriors were in love, and planned to run off the Clan territories together, for their love was forbidden in their homelands. They left at the strike of midnight, when the moon's silver rays illuminated the lands pleasantly so they could see as they travelled. After treking through the territories all night, the pair stopped for rest at the break of morning. They hid among the bracken and undergrowth just outside the CloudClan border, but did not fall asleep until midday.
Dawnpelt woke pregnant. She was not aware of this until two days later, when spasmodic pains in her stomach forbid her from travelling further. In distress, Hareburrow decided she must go back to the Clans. She begged and yowled, but his mind was made up. He could not bear to cause her more pain. She needed medicine cat assistance.
On the 7th of April Dawnpelt returned to CloudClan. She swallowed her pain and put on her best acting mask. The story was that on the night she had dissapeared, she had quietly gone to make dirt. When out in the forest, she startled Hareburrow. After briefly interogating him about why he had been lurking in the shadows of MoonClan, he growled that he had noticed how weak the clan had been becoming...Dawnpelt had not listened to the rest. She had attempted to flee back to the clan, tried to yowl to alert them, but Hareburrow was much stronger then she. He quickly overpowered her and dragged her out of the territory. Because she would not promise to keep that night a secret, he kept her with him. He was an outcast in MoonClan. His leader had defied him the right to lead a patrol to CloudClan to attack them. Headstrong, he secretly gathered members like him anyway. They had been planning to attack. Over time, Hareburrow grew fond of her. One night, he forced her to breed with him. After that, she ran away, quietly slipping through his paws and back to MoonClan. That was the story Dawnpelt told her clan, but she knew the truth. And only she. Hareburrow never returned to the clans.
One pretty spring morning Dawnpelt's kits were born. There were only two, a lean tom, born first, and a fragile little she-cat. The tom looked like his father, while the she-cat looked a bit more like herself. She named them Swiftkit and Swallowkit. Dawnpelt had always admired the beauty of birds. One moon later, Swallowkit died of greencough. Two days after the little kit's death, her mother also died of the same fate. The two were burried under the same oak tree on the border of CloudClan. Swiftkit was now a orphan, but lucky for him, he can not remember his mother, so he does not miss her. He only hears stories, but none of them include his father, because, in the clan's eyes, Hareburrow was a cat of theft and malice.
In Character: Weak sunlight leaked through the brambles that created the roof of the apprentice's den. A ray fell on Swiftpaw's face. His pink nose wrinkled as he forced his eyelids together. A second later, they blinked apart. His pupils retracted and grew, adjusting to the dim lighting. It was still early morning. Soft voices exchanged terse words in the clearing. Dawn patrol! They had not left yet. Now full of life and energy, Swiftpaw carfully lifted himself and picked his way around sleeping clanmates. The tom stood in the threshhold of the den for a moment, blinking. His whiskers twitched in a pleased manner as he surveyed the camp; calm and orderly. Only a few cats milled about. A group had gathered at the entrance. After a quick streach to awaken his limbs and muscles, Swiftpaw padded over to join them, purring in greeting. "May I tag along?" He offered. An elderly warrior appraised him with approval, "Sure. Your mentor is still snoring under his mounds of fur in the warrior den, but I'm sure he won't mind." The warrior winked. Swiftpaw mrrowed in amusement.
Relationships/Kin: No blood kin in the clans. He has yet to establish close bonds with any members.
Other: Is very close to his apprentice ceremony.

Alright, before I accept this, the definition is what the parts of his name mean in the real world.
If you change that, you'll be all set. ^^
